In this presentation by Dr. Sean Olive, an Acoustic Research Fellow for HARMAN International, attendees will learn about the current best practices for measuring loudspeaker and headphone sound quality based on recent scientific research, and discover how choosing the right monitoring systems can help ensure that consumers hear audio content exactly as the artist or broadcast producer intends. At HARMAN, Dr. Olive directs research focused on the perception and measurement of sound reproduction. He has written over 50 research papers on his research, and was awarded the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Fellowship Award.
