HARMAN’s Martin Professional Unveil RUSH SM 650™ and RUSH SM 850™ Smoke Machines at Prolight + Sound 2015

FRANKFURT, Germany — HARMAN’s Martin Professional today announces the RUSH SM 650™ and RUSH SM 850™, part of a new line of atmospheric effects from RUSH by Martin. The new high-powered smoke machines will be on display this week at Martin’s stand A93 in Hall 9 at Prolight + Sound 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany and are available now for pre-order.

The new smoke machines offer market-leading features including a 4-channel wireless remote control system and a blue LED-illuminated fluid container with a rear-view indicator for quick refills during busy evenings. Both products feature a clean industrial design cased in a steel housing while the RUSH SM 850™ is complemented by a rugged carrying handle.

The RUSH SM 650™ and 850™, which replace Martin’s Magnum 650™ and Magnum 850™, were developed to serve as ideal on- or off-road companions for mobile DJs, bands and creative lighting designers, both on the road and off.

“These new up-to-date smoke units improve upon all the features that made the Martin Magnum series so popular,” said Mark Buss, Product Manager RUSH by Martin. “We look forward to seeing them in all sorts of creative applications in the near future.”

The RUSH SM 650™ comes equipped with 700 W heater element, 160 m3 per minute output, 5-minute heat-up time and 1.3-liter fluid capacity. In addition to the 4-channel wireless remote control and receiver, a handheld remote control also comes standard.

The RUSH SM 850™ is a reliable companion in small nightclubs that require high yield at an attractive price point. It features a 850 W heater element, 200 m3 per minute output, 8-minute heat-up time and a 1.6-liter fluid capacity in addition to all the benefits of the 650™.

PLS attendees are invited to visit Martin’s stand A93 in Hall 9 of Messe Frankfurt April 15-18 for hands-on demonstrations of the new products. Also on display will be the brand new Martin RUSH FiberSource 1™, the RUSH Club Smoke Dual™ and several classic Martin fixtures like the MAC Quantum Profile™, MAC Quantum Wash™, MAC Aura XB™, M-Touch™, VDO Fenix 6™ and VDO Sceptron™ family. The winner of this year’s young Lighting Designer Contest will be announced at the stand today, April 15th at 1 p.m.
