New AMX Keypad Series Supports Wide Range of Needs

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands - February 10, 2015 - At Integrated Systems Europe, AMX, a member of the HARMAN Professional family, was excited to introduce its new Massio Keypads, the latest additions to the Massio family of meeting room user interfaces. Available in 6-button and 8-button models, in both black and white, these Keypads can be used as room support keypads for the new Massio ControlPads or can be used alone as user interfaces in any AMX NetLinx-controlled installation.

To ensure a seamless aesthetic match in any room currently utilizing Massio ControlPads, Massio Keypads feature the same sleek look and form factor, allowing them to immediately blend into huddle spaces as well as small and medium-sized conference rooms. These Keypads feature 6- and 8-button layouts that perfectly match the layouts on Massio ControlPads. The 8-button models include the same Massio ControlPad rotary control knob and LED feedback for adjusting volume, dimming lighting or adjusting other control aspects. Additionally, Massio Keypads are ideal for rooms that use a separate NetLinx Controller. Integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) connectivity is included to simplify installations and to eliminate the need for a separate power cable.

In addition to the Massio Keypad Series, the Massio ControlPad Series had its first introduction to the European market at Integrated Systems Europe. This Series melds the installation flexibility and affordability of wall/lectern mount keypads with the device and room control capabilities of a central controller. The result is an ideal control interface for classrooms, conference rooms, or any room where simple device and environment control is needed. Massio ControlPads feature a built-in AMX Controller to give users unrivaled power to control and automate room AV, lighting, HVAC or practically any device you’d like to manage.

Massio ControlPads and Keypads are as simple to configure as they are to use, featuring right out of the box AMX Rapid Project Maker (RPM) cloud-based configurability with no programming required.

Availability and Additional Details
AMX Massio 6-Button and 8-Button Keypads are expected to begin shipping in the US and select markets in March 2015 and globally in June 2015.
