AMX All-In-One Switchers Get Supercharge Under the Hood

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands - February 10, 2015 - At Integrated Systems Europe, AMX, a member of the HARMAN Professional family, announced new models of its Enova DVX All-In-One Presentation Switcher Family, which are all equipped with AMX NetLinx NX Series Controllers. Now the Enova DVX line includes unrivaled NetLinx NX security, scalability and processing power. And, there is no change in pricing for upgraded DVX models from the previous models featuring NetLinx NI Series processors.

Next generation DVX Switchers now include IPv6 and wired 802.1x security support as well as dual NIC functionality to isolate IP-controlled AV devices from the network. These features not only enhance security but drastically reduce the number of IP addresses required for AV technology implementations. All models include an even higher performance architecture, including a 1600 MIPS processor that can manage the most complex and expansive applications.

The new models have updated model names that replace the second digit “1” with a “2”. For example, the Enova DVX-2110HD becomes the Enova DVX-2210HD. And all DVX models are designed for full backwards compatibility to work seamlessly with code developed for the previous NI Series processors.

Using AMX Resource Management Suite (RMS) Enterprise software, the new Switchers can be used to centrally control and manage all of the AV devices in an AMX installation, whether on premise or from the cloud. All DVX models can be immediately configured using the AMX Rapid Project Maker (RPM) configuration resource, with no programming required.

Additional Details and Availability
All Enova DVX models are expected to ship in the US and select markets in Q1 with global availability expected Q22015.
