The special event, held in the Juihua Resort & Convention Centre, hosted some 800 dealers, end-users, systems integrators, consultants, broadcasters, lighting designers and cinema companies. One ballroom featured a 15.1 cinema surround sound and multi-channel playback system, stage and lighting products, while the other demonstrated JBL's loudspeaker products such as the new PRX400, Control 322, Pendant and CBT speakers via a Soundcraft Vi1 digital console, over a fiber network.
The JBL-centric room featured an outdoor stage, hosting the new VTX system, fully operational for critical listening and evaluation. ACE also invited world-class sound engineers and guitar players to perform demonstrations. Two working karaoke rooms were featured, where attendees enjoyed JBL's Entertainment products: Kp and Ks speakers, specifically designed for the karaoke market. ACE's party guests enjoyed the speakers, through the power of Crown's IT4x3500HD amplifier and Studer Vista 5, as well as Soundcraft's ViSi remote function application through an iPad.
"It was more of a get together with old friends, where we could relax and catch up, talking about the latest products in a friendly, fun environment," stated ACE VP Ben Lui.
After two days of celebrating, ACE took a larger booth space with almost 400sqms in Palm Beijing, where the company debuted the new HARMAN products to the public. An entire collection JBL speakers, including the new PRX400, STX800, VTX VT-25, Control 60 series and latest Ki ,Kp ,Ks karaoke series, in addition to Soundcraft's Si Compact and Vi1 consoles and several BSS, Crown and dbx products were shown.
