SHANGHAI, China – Based on the international comedy, “Whose Wife is it Anyway,” the Hai Team, a touring group in China reconstructed The Adventures of Ten Hour with a delicate dramatic structure and the comedic, edgy style known from the group. In front of a crowded audience, the Hai Team relies on HARMAN’s AKG DMS 700 wireless system to ensure their eight channels perfectly and clearly execute winning acts.
Headlining at the Shanghai Grand Theatre, the seven actors in the show utilized AKG’s HC577L headset mics over 12 channels – eight live and four backups. The system consists of six DSR700 dual receivers, two PS4000W antenna splitters; a PSU4000 for power and an HUB4000Q network connector.
Action China, a distributor in China supplied the system and technical support during the show, which ran from December 14-18, 2011.
The performers wore their DPT700 pocket receivers connected to the headsets. During the five days of performances, the system worked flawlessly, even with multiple other performances in the venue and broadcasting trucks outside, both utilizing wireless systems.
“We were able to put on a great show with no interference with AKG DMS 700,” said Zhao Tao, the chief actor. “We take pride in our performances and always make sure the audience is entertained. With a clear frequency and zero interruption, we can make sure the audience completely enjoys the performances.”
