Miami’s Club E11even Relies On HARMAN’s Martin Professional Lighting Fixtures 24/7

MIAMI, Florida  — Miami’s Club E11even is a unique 24-hour hybrid club, operating as an intimate lounge space by day and a gentleman’s club by night with an expanded space, Cirque Du Soleil acts, aerialists, contortionists and interactive theatrical characters. Recently, Miami-based iDesign installed HARMAN’s Martin Professional lighting fixtures to be the center of all parts.

With a total of 38 RUSH Profiles (32 - main room, six - day room), 16 RUSH Beams in the main room and three Hazers (two – main room, one – day room), Club E11even chose Martin for its power and, most importantly, its reliability.

“The design grew from a bunch of ideas,” stated Michael Meacham, iDesign Productions. “We saw the new RUSH line at the Prolight + Sound Show in Frankfurt and we were very intrigued. We knew we needed a fixture with the power and LED engine that could go nonstop and the RUSH line was a great fit for the environment. It was an easy decision for us to work with this Martin line.”

There weren’t many challenges once Meacham and his team selected Martin. “Having a dust-free fixture is key, especially in construction sites and when the club will be running nonstop. Cleaning the fixtures is never a problem. Structurally we custom-built everything we had including the grids and T-builds for the fixtures to hang on.”

“I love the color set of the Beams!” Meacham expressed. “Along with the gobo set they are really impressive. They move quickly with great output, they really define themselves differently than the typical beam fixture, and I can happily say we’ve had no problems. We’ve run them pretty hard for quite some time and haven’t had one failure. This has not been the case with other manufacturers as some burned out after a couple weeks. When you see a beam coming from above, it lights up everything!”

“The Profile gobo set is beyond impressive as well,” Meacham continued. “I can morph them with the color wheel and gobo wheel for a heavy combination and still have enough output to make it visible. For an LED fixture, that’s unheard of and I don’t think I’ve liked a fixture this much in a while!”

Martin is the center and sum of all parts, said Meacham. “We’re happy that everything works so well together, from the custom LED fixtures and screens, it’s all perfect. We’ve had rave reviews from the owners and patrons, we couldn’t be happier with the blend of fixtures and talent.”

“Martin’s support has been fantastic,” added Holmes Ives, Project Manager. “Whenever we had a question, Martin was right on it and has continued providing us with the ongoing support and attention that will keep us coming back!
