HARMAN's Soundcraft Si Compact 24 Travels With Norrish Reaction

SEATTLE, Washington — Guitarist, singer and songwriter Winston Norrish recently upgraded to HARMAN’s Soundcraft Si Compact 24 for the ultimate small-format console with tremendous flexibility and ease of use for live shows with his band, Norrish Reaction.

Norrish recently completed a recording project at the historic London Bridge Studios in Seattle, Washington with friend and drummer Bob Lupton. After great success, Norrish wanted a console that he could take on the road for live music venues.

Norrish was in the market for a console that would be an easy upgrade from his previous digital desk as well as a console that would be easy to teach to others. With the ability to run several in-ear stereo auxiliaries and great onboard processing and effects, the Si Compact 24 was the perfect choice for the job.

“A lot of consoles look similar on paper, but the similarities stop there,” Norrish said. “I discovered the Si Compact console after weighing several options. The quality of the preamps, depth and capability of onboard processing and effects, layout, ease of use, and enormous flexibility all played into my decision. Soundcraft does not compromise on quality and that is key.”

The Si Compact replaced a much larger mixer, Norrish added. “It sets up in a fraction of time, takes up half the space, sounds better and I am more confident in its reliability. It also opens the doors to expand the system in the future.”

“I am now sold on all Soundcraft products,” Norrish concluded. “The fantastic customer service I have received from Soundcraft gives me the confidence that every time I use the console I will have a great experience.”
