Shanghai University of International Business and Economics Upgrades Classrooms With HARMAN’s AKG Perception Wireless Microphone Systems

SHANGHAI, China – The renowned Shanghai University of International Business and Economics recently added 111 HARMAN’s AKG Perception Wireless Microphone Systems for its on-campus lecture halls. Known for its diligence in handling large-scale projects across a wide range of verticals, including education, commercial, hospitality and entertainment, integrator Gold Sound chose the presenter set of this system to deliver a sustainable solution on a tight budget.

One hundred fifty AKG Perception kits were acquired to provide reliable performance, ease of use, and clear and natural-sounding voice input for instructors in lecture halls. Due to the university’s large rooms, the system had to be able to project sufficient and uniform sound to meet the requirements.

“We like AKG not just because of its worldwide popularity, but also for what they offer at a reasonable price,” said Liang Yu Sales Manager of Gold Sound. “The WMS45 system provides high speech intelligibility, which is exactly what the customer was looking for. No other company has something in this price range that allows users to speak so easily with natural and clear sound.”

When asked whether there were aspects of the system that did not live up to his expectations, Yu responded: “There were none. The teachers loved the system, because it is so easy to use due to its plug-and-play functionality. Also, because of AKG’s reliability, they don’t have to worry about technical problems no matter how many lectures they use the microphones in.”
