HARMAN’s AKG CS 5 Digital Conference System Makes China Debut In Happy Coast City Club

VIENNA, Austria – The Happy Coast City Club in Shenzhen, China is now the first venue to offer HARMAN’s AKG CS 5 digital conferencing systems in the country. The club, located in Shenzhen Bay, is part of the Happy Coast real estate development project, undertaken by OCT Enterprises to create a 1.25-million square meter tourism complex containing an amusement park, restaurants, hotels, shopping, a wetlands preserve and additional facilities.

The Happy Coast City Club has facilities for business and recreation including a conference room, helicopter pad, restaurants, gyms, a spa, tennis courts, a pool and numerous additional amenities. The Happy Coast City Club will be equipped with two AKG CS 5 systems, one for the club’s boardroom and one for its Chuangzhan Centre meeting room. Each system consists of 17 stations, including one CS 5 BU base station, one CS 5 VU microphone station and 16 CS 5 DU microphone stations.

The AKG CS 5 Digital Conference System is an expandable 64-channel audio conferencing system that can accommodate applications from a small setup to complex systems including ID card identification, 3-way voting or 5-way polling, interpretation of up to 63 languages and IR transmission of up to seven languages. Its components are connected via Ethernet cable for maximum security, superior digital audio quality and reliable connectivity.

The CS 5 system is being installed by Melody Development Co. Ltd., which is also the authorized distributor of AKG CS 5 Digital Conference Systems in China as of July 1, 2011.
