Tianjin Meijiang Convention Center Upgrades Performance Audio System With Harman Line

Under construction for four years to completely renovate its concert hall appearance and sound system, the Tianjin Concert Hall has installed a complete Harman sound system with hopes to continue entertaining the masses as one of the most popular concert halls and convention centers in China.  The 2010 Summer Davos Forum was the first large-scale event to experience the new Harman system.

The hall installed JBL Control 300 series ceiling speakers, Crown CT and I-Tech series amplifiers, a BSS BLU-800 digital audio matrix and a Soundcraft Si3 digital console.  “The Harman professional equipment provides a great audio standard for all of our attendees and visitors,” said the Manager from Tianjin Taida company who owns the management of the Convention Center,“We are happy to offer top-of-the-line facilities for any international and local event.”

The convention center spans 230,000 square meters, consisting of modern exhibition halls and various conference halls that can each accommodate up to 2000 people.  The space also includes an 800-square-meter VIP Hall, 10 300-square-meter meeting rooms and several additional medium-sized conference rooms, reception rooms and negotiation rooms.

“Installing the Harman equipment was vital to the future plans of our convention center,” continued the Manager.  “With such a comprehensive, quality sound system, we foresee being chosen by many high-end national and international conference and exhibitions in the near future.”

In the future, a series of conferences such as the China Tourism Industry Festival, Tianjin Housing Fair, Free Trade Zone Auto Show and International Mining Conference will also be held in the convention center. The Meijiang Convention Center adds new charm for the city of Tianjin, not only with its beautiful and elegant appearance, but also with amazing sound capabilities.
